One of those would make a cool fifth wheel car hauler. Even better - a ramp truck for Tinkerbell LOL.

Why don't you chop, channel and narrow that about three feet and put it on the drag chassis. That'd be different!!!!!!

I actually thought about using that cab and the front clip from the 1979 CJ-7 in front of it as a form of "rat rod". Now I'm leaning toward putting it on a newer school bus chassis and making a motorhome/toy hauler. Only problem there is getting it through the Nova Scotia Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Why are they a pain in the butt? Wouldn't you register it to the newer chassis number?

Nova Scotia is the toughest place in Canada to try to register a home built(or even slightly modified) vehicle. The build would have to be documented with photos, I would need a bill of sale from the Fire Dept for the cab, the school board for the chassis and I would then have to take it all the way to New Brunswick to be inspected by a certified Automotive Engineer just to get ownership papers and then it would have to be inspected by a trailer/motorhome dealer.

That sure is a pain. Not too many ratrods up there huh?

Great pics, Wheelz! Love that Bug!
I had no idea it would be so difficult to get a home built vehicle registered legal-like there, Don. Why don't they loosen up a little...learn to appreciate art when they see it...it ain't like you're building something that's dangerous or threatening. It's just different. I hate red tape and/or Catch-22s...
