This thread will be for my street toys. This is shots of one of my current toys. Anne took these while on a ride up in the forest near Reno. I wanted some pictures and she was learning photography, so it worked out well.
When I turn on my car, it returns the favor.
Here's the one I had earlier. Lots of body mods done to this one. It was taken at Virginia city, when we (Reno Corvette's) did a parade there. The plate carries on my Madness name, even thought not a drag race car.
Not to say it wasn't healthy though. Beef it up?? Who me? ;o)
Doing a little autocross here, way up in Roseburg Oregon at a Corvette event years ago. Hey! A guys got play a little. For those that know Corvette's, would you think that this started out as a 75 vette? This is how I think they should have come from the factory.
When you see this next one, I think you'll start to see a trend going. So this is the one before that one.
Might just be some body work and mods done on this one too. It's a tilt front end and flared with some big meats on it. May have stepped on it once and awhile too. Gee and it's red too.
Here's the last one from this road trip. Hope you enjoyed the ride.
Here's a cool picture that John (WC) did for me of the car. Thanks again Cat.
Here's something a guy (Tricep) did for me too, that I thought was kind of cool. He took a shot in this thread and played on Photoshop with it. I asked him to add the "Born in America" part.
It's amazing the stuff that can be done with it. I'm going to have to try and learn this stuff.
Anne's playing with Photoshop and came up with these. It's different and sure makes the vette color pop.
Bill and I went on a road trip awhile back. Got some pictures along the way. Bill gets the credit for taking the shots on this trip though.
We took the cars up to Truckee California and went up north to Downieville. Stopped at this small waterfall on the way.
Bill felt the need to take us off road a bit too. Why have clean cars after all?
Stopped for lunch in Downieville, then headed towards Chilcoot, California. Stopped at a interesting little place there, for a head call and some soda's.
Then we headed back to Nevada, for a stop at the Stead Airbase to see what planes were there. Here's a few of what we found.
Notice the black helicopter in the background that had been following us around. Hmmm.
It was then time to head on home. Hope you enjoyed our road trip. Nice way to spend 6 hours. Lots of fun driving the mountain curves and enjoying the sites and smells up there too.
