This photo from Facebook friend and S/Pro racer Renee Coughlin in Brackley, Prince Edward Island. This is about three miles from the Raceway Park PEI drag strip...

Same area of Prince Edward Island only a mile closer to the drag strip. To fully understand why they got so much snow you first have to know the Gulf of St Lawrence is ice covered and with the winds from the northeast every flake of snow that fell between Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island wound up on the north shore of PEI.

This is the highway in Park Corner, Prince Edward Island sometime this morning - also the main road to the Anne of Green Gables Museum. The plow got stuck and the driver left to get a bulldozer to get it unstuck.

Another snow pic from Prince Edward Island. This is Tracy Rosa's house in Mount Stewart - she says there's a 12 foot enclosed trailer with two Jr Dragsters under there somewhere.

That is absolutely crazy. I would be moving as soon as the snow melts.... like maybe in August!

Around the end of the 1990's Susan and I thought of moving to the Maritimes after we retired. Glad we didn't.

The view out my office window at suppertime. That fence is just over 6 feet high and now(8:00PM) the top of the drift is completely over it. This is not normal winter weather for here - In the past 10 years or so I didn't use the snowblower more than 3-4 times per winter. This past week alone I've used it five times.......
