11:20 PM Atlantic time and it is raining and blowing so hard I had to turn up the TV to drown it out. It hasn't stopped raining since last night and right now it's the heaviest I've seen in a long time. Irregardless of the weather the Peasant Racing team pulls out of the driveway at 7:00AM sharp. Meeting up with my brother Spencer at the PEI ferry terminal for the 11:15 crossing. He tells me this will probably be the first time we will be at Raceway Park together since I used to run Stock class there back in the 1970s. Won't be turning on the computers again until Monday AM and not taking one with me so we'll be out of touch until after the weekend. Got my smart phone so I can take photos and notes so I'll have a full report when we get back. Have a great labour day weekend folks - I know I'm going to have a blast.

Morning all - 16C(61F) Still raining hard, still really windy. I was up earlier than I thought I was going to be so I'm doing a little net surfing. We're leaving for the ferry in about a half hour and my buddy Colin is tagging along for the weekend so for once I won't be travelling alone and talking to myself LOL. Colin works the parts counter at Safway Auto Parts and is part of our CB Dragway staff so I've known him forever.

Speaking of Indy, first "Q" session several (4)FC's in the 4.0's already, and at 4300ft. WOW!!! If they get some better air we may re-wright the record books.....

Morning all - 20°C(70°F) Heavy rain and light winds so I guess Raceway Park PEI will get rained out. Spencer also tells me the ferry is booked solid for today so he will have to go home the long way over the Confederation bridge. For those of you not familiar with the geography of this part of the world one end of Prince Edward Island is linked to Nova Scotia via the ferry and the other end has the bridge to New Brunswick. Good thing I came home yesterday or I would have had to add 3-4 hours to the trip and a few hundred kms.
