Good Morning 22C(72°F) Sunny, light winds and a forecast high of 30C(87°F) but a "feels like" temp more oven-like. Got dragged out of my AC comfort yesterday to ferry Nancy around to a few stores and nearly baked in the process. White truck has AC but the fan is not working so I might just as well have none. Got a call from the hospital yesterday with a reminder for my ultrasound at 11:00AM on Tuesday so I'm hoping after 4 months they'll finally be able to figure out what's wrong with my shoulder.
We're expecting Kenny home for the long weekend, Nancy has Tara, Cory and the kids coming today and Nancy is going to go back to Halifax with Kenny and spend a couple weeks with Tara. She has to go with Kenny because there is no room for her in Tara and Cory's car with the two child seats in the back.
My plan for the day is to stay in my nice cool air conditioned office, surf the 'net, watch TV and do computer maintenance. TV weather girl says we're going to get a break from the heat the first of the week so I might be able to get outside and do some stuff IF my arm doesn't hurt too much.

Good Morning 20C(69°F) Sunny, light winds and no end in sight yet for the high temperatures. Got four new rows of deck boards down and polished three of the Ranger's wheels before it got too hot to be outside any longer. Rest of the day was spent watching the LODRS from Atco Dragway and the World Super Pro Challenge at Mid-Michigan Motorplex.
Heading outside now to start pulling nails on a few more rows of the old deck boards and hopefully I can get the last one of the Ranger's wheels polished before the heat gets to me. Once I get stuck in my office I'll be back to watching the races for Atco and Mid Michigan.

Good Morning 18C(69°F) Cloudy, light winds and 60% chance of showers. Got a few rows of nails pulled on the old deck boards and the last wheel polished on the Ranger yesterday. Except for a brief trip to the grocery store I spent the rest of the day and evening watching drag racing from Atco and Mid-Michigan.
And now to the "elephant in the room" - since I seem to be the only one left on this board and it has become more of a personal blog than a forum I am thinking about shutting it down.

15°C, sunny and light winds now and going to 26° before the day is done. Finally get the ultrasound on my shoulder today at 11:00AM then back home to take Marie to rug hooking. Still hurting and still almost useless for most physical activity with the left arm so I HOPE they can find what's wrong and my doctor can figure out what to do with it.

16C, cloudy and light winds with a forecast high of 26C. The Tech that did my ultrasound almost killed my arm for good. Took 4 Ibuprofen since yesterday and it still hurts like the devil. Taking Dad for groceries then dropping him off at his sister-in-law's for a visit and she is going to take him back home. Drag Racing Association meeting at the track this evening.

16C, sunny and light winds with a forecast high of 23°. Dad's Wednesday ritual done before noon than dropped him off at his sister-in-law's place for a visit and she drove him back home after supper. Had a Drag Racing Association meeting last evening at the track to discuss the changes and improvements needed to become a NHRA partner track and host a "National Open". Arm still hurts like the devil, zero work done on the Ranger lately but I'm only about 6 rows of boards away from finishing the new back deck floor.

20C and raining. Made leaf spring clamps yesterday, had a little visit with Ross and Mora and updated the Pee Wee Bowen Band website. Arm still hurts too bad to do much of anything lately and one week from today our next event at Cape Breton Dragway starts.

20C, Cloudy and light winds. Hot August Nights last evening saw the downtown area jammed with antiques, classics, musclecars, trucks, etc - maybe 500 or more because the place was so packed it was hard to tell. Took us more than an hour just to walk past all the ones that were parked along George St and I would say there were just as many or more driving around because there was no parking spots left.

18C now and 25C this afternoon with a chance of showers or thundershowers. Spent a couple hours at the track yesterday driving steel fence posts with a pneumatic hammer. Hot August Nights car show jammed every street downtown last evening. Best guess would be well over 500 vehicles - the most ever. No plans for today YET....

17C going to 23° and showers before the day is out. Ran a few errands yesterday then washed the Ranger. Only a couple of days before our next event so I won't likely get any more done to it. Trying to organize a work crew to help me change gears some time before the September race since I'm still on the disabled list.

16C Sunny, light winds. Missed checking in yesterday because of a computer acting up that took most of my time. Setup tomorrow for this weekend's event, Spencer will be here today and will be at his cottage for two weeks so between the two of us we might get some work done to the Ranger.

13C, foggy, light winds. Heading out to the track shortly for setup. Going to drop the Ranger in my pit space then start running cables and putting up speakers. Test and Tune session this evening to "test" my suspension modifications and mixed up some octane boosted fuel yesterday to "tune" some more timing into our old truck engine.

11C Sunny and light winds. Fuel system on the Ranger was full of dirt, rust, crud, water, rust and even a few dead bugs so no time trials last evening. By the time we got it all cleaned out it was time to go home. Hope we can get through today without any more glitches....
